Types of Safari 

There are 2 modes of safari people should know about while doing the Sariska Safari Booking. The Jeep Safari and the Canter Safari.

  1. For jeep safari, the 4 by 4 Maruti Suzuki gypsy is available which can accommodate 6 tourists. This will also include the driver and guide.
  2. For the canter, an open minibus is available, that can accommodate 20 visitors excluding the driver and guide.

Sariska Safari Booking Procedure 

Visitors looking forward to the Sariska Jeep Safari Booking need to do the following:

  1. Check for the availability of safaris on your desired dates.
  2.  If the safari availability gets confirmed, you are required to fill in the visitor’s details like name, age, nationality, ID type, ID Number
  3. On completion of the requisite details, you are required to make the payment.
  4. When payment is done, a voucher would be generated and the safari boarding point location would be shared.
  5. On the day of boarding reach the point 10 mins early, and you will find your safari vehicle & guide there.

Safari Timing & Prices 

Here is the complete information on the Sariska Safari Online Booking Price.

  1. Jeep safari is available for Indians at Rs 1600 per passenger and 9000 full gypsy. Foreigners need to pay  Rs 2700 per passenger and 16000 full gypsy. The timings are 06:00 AM – 09:30 AM. In the evening, it functions from 03:30 PM – 07:00 PM.
  2. The Canter safari charges Rs. 1200 per passenger for an Indian and Rs. 2200 per passenger for a foreigner. In the morning it functions from 6:30 AM – 10.00 AM. In the evening, it functions from 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM.

Safari Zones

Tourists planning their safari should know that Sariska Tiger Reserve has two gates: Sariska gate and Telha gate.

  1. The Sariska gate gives access to zone 1, zone 2, and zone 3.
  2. The Tehla gate gives access to zone 4.
  3. Compared to the Sariska gate, the Tehla gate is more popular. Therefore the Sariska gate is the most preferred by tourists.

  1. Jaipur Airport is the nearest airport to Sariska National Park at a distance of 122 km. Direct buses and taxis are also available to where the park is located.
  2. The nearest railway station is at Alwar which is 37 km from the Sariska National Park. This railway station is well connected to all the major cities. Road connectivity is always great so a car trip is also a great mode.

As per reports there are 20 tigers in the Sariska National Park.

Personal vehicles are only allowed on Saturdays and Tuesdays. It is allowed till the Hanuman Temple. Personal vehicles won't be allowed as safaris.
