As you reach the divine pilgrimage of Haridwar from Delhi via your preferred mode of commute (car or Volvo), it brings us to our first stoppage at the Vaishno Devi temple, followed by a dip in the holy Ganges at the Vishnu Ghat. Thereafter, we drive to the top of the Neel Parvat on the eastern summit of the Shivalik Hills in Haridwar to witness the pious sight of Chandi Devi temple. It is highly revered as one of the three Siddh Peetha by devotees (the other two being the famous Mansa Devi temple and Maya Devi temple). After Chandi Devi temple, it’s time to seek blessings from Mansa Devi at the shrine. Towards the evening, we reach Har ki Pauri for soaking in the positive vibes at the Ganga aarti, a sight to remember for a lifetime. This is followed by a scrumptious dinner at the hotel and a relaxing stay thereafter.
Day 2 begins on an adventurous note, with Rafting at the Brahmapuri. Get your rafting gears on at the best place for rafting and adventure sports in Uttarakhand. Safety guards will be provided at the point and you’d be accompanied by an expert rafter for a safe adventure. Enjoy the nerve-racking rapids with gusty waves thrashing you heavily with equal vigor as yours. After that quite an adventurous start to the day, we reach Terah Manzil temple, a major landmark located on the banks of the river Ganga. On seeking the blessings of the lord at the shrine, we head out for another adventurous spot in Rishikesh- Lakshman Jhula. This centuries-old iron suspension bridge at Rishikesh is hugely attached to mythological beliefs in Hinduism. You can enjoy the view of the mystic hills from the spot and shop your pockets out and take home some precious souvenirs. The day closes with a trip back home to Delhi via your preferred mode of commute.
