Terms and Conditions

Communication

All correspondence regarding tour or travel service bookings must be directed to Banzaara Vacations Pvt Ltd.

Payment Terms

An initial advance payment (minimum 60%)  is required to confirm your services, with the remainder payable either before leaving your home country or upon arrival in India, and certainly before services begin. Full payment in advance may be required for special events or peak seasons such as Christmas and New Year, as well as for premium train journeys.

Payment Methods

For international clients, advance payments can be made via wire transfer to our designated bank.

Liabilities & Limitations

After confirming the cost of tours/services, any increases in fees for entrance, taxes, fuel, or guide services imposed by the government will be charged extra. Banzaara Vacations acts only as an agent for hotels and other service providers and is not liable for any interruptions or deficiencies in their services.

All suggested itineraries are flexible and may change based on various factors like weather or road conditions. We reserve the right to alter schedules to ensure participant safety and comfort.

Pricing and Adjustments

Our rates are derived from current negotiations with service providers. Should there be rate increases from hotels or airlines, our prices will be adjusted accordingly. All hotel reservations are subject to standard check-in and check-out times, unless otherwise stated.

General Conditions

We are not responsible for any program delays, changes, or associated costs that arise from external factors such as weather, flight cancellations, or accidents.

We will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage related to services that are beyond our control. We also do not cover expenses related to accidents, illness, theft, or other losses; clients should arrange their own insurance for these events.

CANCELLATION AND BOOKING POLICY

Banzaara Travels (Banzaara Vacations Pvt Ltd)

This Cancellation and Booking Policy (“Policy”) is applicable to all bookings made with Banzaara Travels (Banzaara Vacations Pvt Ltd) for safaris, resorts, Forest Rest Houses, and associated travel services. By confirming a booking, the Customer agrees to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined herein.


1. SAFARI BOOKING POLICY

1.1 Non-Refundable Nature of Safaris: All safari bookings in any national park are strictly non-refundable. This is in accordance with the policies of respective national park authorities. Once a safari has been booked and confirmed, no cancellation, refund, or credit note shall be issued under any circumstances.

1.2 Amendment or Rescheduling of Safari Bookings: Safaris cannot be rescheduled or amended once confirmed. The booking shall remain non-transferable and will be forfeited in the event of a no-show or inability to attend the safari at the designated date and time.


2. RESORT AND FOREST REST HOUSE CANCELLATION POLICY

2.1 Resort-Specific Policies: The cancellation policies for resorts are governed by the respective resort’s terms and conditions. Banzaara Travels has no control over the individual resort’s policies.

2.2 Forest Rest House (FRH) Bookings: Once permits for Forest Rest Houses (FRH) are obtained and the booking is confirmed, no refund will be issued under any circumstances. A Credit Note may be issued only under special circumstances and at the sole discretion of Banzaara Travels if customer notify us 10 days prior to obtaining permits & accommodation booking.

2.3 Special Packages Credit Note: In cases where the booking is part of a special package offered by Banzaara Travels, and subject to the discretion of Banzaara Travels, a Credit Note (not a refund) may be issued. The issuance and value of the Credit Note will depend on the notice period provided by the Customer prior to the scheduled travel date.

2.4 Conditions for Credit Notes:

  • Credit Notes are valid for a period of 1 (one) year from the original booking date.
  • Credit Notes shall not be applicable for bookings on weekends, long weekends, festivals, or between 22nd December to 3rd January.
  • Any increase in prices of safaris, Forest Rest Houses, resort tariffs, or other travel components at the time of rebooking shall be borne solely by the Customer.
  • Credit Notes are non-transferable and may be redeemed only by the original booking party.

2.5 Credit Note Value Schedule: The value of the Credit Note shall be determined based on the following notice period prior to the scheduled travel date:

  • 100% of Booking Value: If cancellation notice is provided a minimum of 3 months (90 days) prior to the travel date.
  • 70% of Booking Value: If cancellation notice is provided a minimum of 45 days prior to the travel date.
  • 50% of Booking Value: If cancellation notice is provided a minimum of 30 days prior to the travel date.
  • 30% of Booking Value: If cancellation notice is provided a minimum of 15 days prior to the travel date.
  • No Credit Note/Refund: If cancellation notice is provided less than 15 days prior to the travel date.

2.6 Notification Process:

  • All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to the designated tour advisor.
  • The Customer must obtain an email confirmation acknowledging the receipt of the cancellation request from Banzaara Travels. Failure to secure a confirmation email shall render the cancellation request null and void.

2.7 Cancellation during Travel: In the event the Customer cancels the trip or any part of the trip after the commencement of travel, no refund or Credit Note will be issued for the unused portion of the trip.

2.8 Failure to Arrive: If the Customer fails to arrive at the designated time and place for the booked services (resorts, Forest Rest Houses, safaris, or other travel components), the booking will be treated as a “No-Show.” In such cases, no refund or Credit Note will be issued.


3. ADDITIONAL TERMS

3.1 Customer Liability for Price Differences: In the event of rebooking with a Credit Note, if the prices for resorts, safaris, Forest Rest Houses, or any travel components have increased from the original booking value, the Customer shall be liable to pay the difference in price.

3.2 Non-Applicability of Credit Notes: Credit Notes are not applicable for:

  • Bookings on weekends or long weekends;
  • Bookings during festivals;
  • Bookings between 22nd December to 3rd January.

3.3 Validity of Credit Notes: All Credit Notes must be redeemed within 1 (one) year from the original date of booking. Failure to redeem the Credit Note within the stipulated period shall render it void, and no further claims shall be entertained.

3.4 Processing Fees: A processing fee of 5% of the total booking value may apply to any cancellations or changes requiring a Credit Note. The processing fee shall be deducted from the value of the Credit Note issued.

3.5 Transferability of Bookings: Bookings are strictly non-transferable to any third party. Changes to guest names, travel dates, or service details will not be permitted once the booking has been confirmed.


4. FORCE MAJEURE Banzaara Travels shall not be held liable for any cancellations, changes, or disruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, strikes, acts of war, or civil disturbances. In such circumstances, refunds or Credit Notes may not be issued, and the standard resort, Forest Rest House, and safari policies shall apply. Banzaara Travels reserves the right to alter travel itineraries or services as deemed necessary under force majeure conditions without prior notice.


5. GOVERNING LAW This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city where Banzaara Vacations Pvt Ltd is registered.


6. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By proceeding with a booking, the Customer expressly acknowledges, accepts, and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this Policy. It is the Customer’s responsibility to review the Policy in full prior to booking.
