Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. By Airway 

 One can easily reach any place or destination by just taking a flight. However, Jolly Grant Airport at Dehradun is the nearest airport to Rishikesh, which is roughly 35 kilometers(about 21.75 mi) down, if you’re planning to visit. Major cities like New- Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Kolkata have direct flights to Dehradun. By Roadway

Rishikesh relates to the state capital of Uttarakhand- Dehradun, which is 12 kilometers(about 7.46 mi) from the city. 
There are motorable roads connecting it with other major cities in  Uttarakhand as well as the northern states of India. Rishikesh buses depart from Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate and Meerut. You can reach Rishikesh by bus and taxi from major Uttarakhand destinations similar to Dehradun, Haridwar, Srinagar, Tehri, Uttarkashi, etc. Badrinath and Rishikesh are connected by National Highway 58. 

By Railway

There’s a road station in Rishikesh, as well as a station in Yog Nagari Rishikesh, Indian Railways will be providing services to this city halfway through this station. Soon, another new line will connect Rishikesh to Kare Prayag shortly, ( presently being constructed), Well connected by road networks with major destinations of India. We booked a tour for Jim Corbett in Uttarakhand from Banzara travels last month.Hotel and safari was very good. The guide of our jeep was very good person and the hospitality of the hotel manager and boys were also very good. We satisfy with their service.
