Jim Corbett National Park is a widely-known wildlife sanctuary and one of India’s oldest wildlife parks, established in 1936 in the northern state of Uttarakhand. Nature is abundant in Jim Corbett, which is home to a different variety of wildlife. Known for its Royal Bengal Tigers, it’s the most popular national park across the world. The park covers an area of around 1.318 kilometres & is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. It’s divided into seven different zones with entry gates. These zones are Dhikala, Garjia, Durgadevi, Bijrani, Jhirna, Sonanadi, and Dhela. Also, it’s home to other endangered animals that can be found roving in the park. These mammals include leopards, mammoths, deer, wild boars, and langurs. The park is also a haven for birdwatchers, with over 600 species recorded in the park. Corbett National Park offers mesmerising landscapes with hills, rivers, and waterfalls. The Ramganga River flows through the park, and visitors can enjoy scenic views of the river and the surrounding hills.
